Bhopal: The BJP on Saturday claimed that documents seized by the income Tax department had revealed Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh had taken crores from a builder in Madhya Pradesh during his tenure as chief minister and demanded a thorough probe.

Talking to media persons here, state Bharatiya Janata Party chief Nandkumar Singh Chauhan said a builder was raided by tax officials on May 30, 2008 and apart from account books, three diaries were seized from his premises. During the probe, the builder accepted the entries in the diaries were made by him and related to his commercial dealings.
