Ghaziabad: The Ghaziabad Police have arrested five people in connection with the abduction of Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna. According to reports, a &lsquo;stalker&rsquo; obsessed with Dipti was involved in the abduction.

The stalker has been identified as Devender, and is said to have been inspired by Shah Rukh Khan&rsquo;s psychopath character in the movie Darr, and planned the abduction on similar lines. Devender, it has been learnt, has a criminal record.&nbsp;
Last week, Sarna left the Vaishali Metro Station in Ghaziabad at 8.30 p.m. and took a 'shared' auto-rickshaw with three other passengers, including a woman. She was then kidnapped by the men in the auto-rickshaw who were posing as passengers. Dipti returned home a couple of days later, rather mysteriously.
