Harda (MP): A woman suffering from fever and headache was given blood meant for her namesake who was being treated for a kidney ailment at the same district hospital, a medical official said here today.

"An inquiry has been ordered into the matter. The doctor and nurse found guilty of yesterday's wrong blood transfusion will be punished," Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) R C Udaniya told PTI today.
