Dr Abdul Kalam to meet young mountaineers, honour them

The former President to honour differently-abled Arunima Sinha and 15-year-old Raghav Joneja for having scaled Mount Everest.

Two years after losing her left leg in a fight with robbers, she became the first woman amputee to scale Mountain Everest. He at 15 has become the youngest Indian to scale the Everest peak. They are Arunima Sinha and Raghav Joneja, who will be among ten young mountaineers to be honoured by former President Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam in the city on Monday.
