Just ahead of the polls, a complaint lodged against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mayank Gandhi said that he was guilty of concealing a case against him.

The complaint said that Gandhi, who is AAP&rsquo;s candidate for Mumbai North West constituency, did not include details of the case against him in the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission. The complaint was received by the Election Commission on Tuesday.
About four years back, when Gandhi was serving as director in a construction company, one of the tenants had moved to court against the organisation. Luckily for Gandhi, no FIR has been filed against him for hiding the case.
The commission stated that they will publish a counter affidavit on their website and put it up on the notice board of the returning officer&rsquo;s office at North West constituency.
Kumar Khaire, the returning officer of North West constituency, said, &ldquo;We received a complaint against the affidavit submitted by Gandhi.
During enquiry, we found that there was a case against the company where he was working as a director. Therefore, we will post a counter affidavit on the website and outside my office in which we&rsquo;ll mention all the facts.&rdquo;
When mid-day contacted Gandhi, he said, &ldquo;I came to know that a complaint has been filed against me. The case was not against me but the company where I was serving as a director in 2010.
I quit the company in 2011 and have nothing to do with it now. Nevertheless, my lawyer will respond to the complaint.&rdquo;
