<div>The issue of alleged violation of code of conduct by Deputy Chief Minster Ajit Pawar could be resolved only next week, said State Election Commissioner (SEC), Neela Satyanarayan.</div><div><br /></div><div>Addressing the media after attending a review meeting of upcoming civic polls with the top city and Pimpri-Chinchwad officials, she saidthat that Pawar has given his clarification on the issue and the report demanded from the PMC has also reached her office yesterday.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>"The final decision will only be given out by next week after a detailed study of the PMC report." The alleged violation of code of conduct by Pawar came in to limelight on January 3, when the dates of civic polls was announced. Pawar was spotted participating in the inauguration ceremony of the flyover project at Shivaji Nagar on January 3.</div><div><br /></div><div>Clearing air on the voting and counting dates for the upcoming civic elections in PMC and PCMC, she said voting would not be held on the same day. "The counting will begin a day after the election date on February 16."u00a0</div><div>Earlier, the SEC had issued a statement that counting can be held on the same day of voting, but only with the approval of civic chiefs.</div>
