The Election Commission of India (ECI) has revised the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Maharashtra, extending the timeline for claims and objections and pushing the publication of the final voter list to November 4, news agency PTI reported.

The revised schedule was issued by the poll panel on Wednesday following a request from the Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
