Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Tuesday called on people of Bihar to celebrate Durga Puja this year by ending communalism and defeating the BJP-led NDA in the ongoing state assembly polls.

"People in Bihar would celebrate Durga Puja this year with 'Sampradaikta Vadh' to send a clear message to end the present day (demon king) Ravan," Lalu told the media in Patna minutes before leaving Patna to address eight rallies in different assembly constituencies in Vaishali and Saran districts.
