Ex-cop talks of bid to doctor Aarushi's autopsy report

In the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, a retired Uttar Pradesh Police officer told a special court here Thursday that he was approached by a person to help doctor the slain teenaged schoolgirl's autopsy report.

K.K. Gautam, who retired as deputy superintendent of police, told Special Judge S. Lal THursday that he was approached by an eye surgeon by phone with a request to doctor murdered teenager Aarushi Talwar's autopsy report so as to remove any mention of "rape", if at all it was established.

During his cross-examination by defence lawyer Satyaketu Singh, Gautam said he refused to help the person who approached him.
