BJP's Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday took oath as the deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Fadnavis took the oath after Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde took oath at the Chief Minister of the state.

BJP chief JP Nadda had made an announcement mentioning that Devendra Fadnavis would be part of the new Maharashtra Cabinet led by rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde.
