Four persons were injured in a family dispute around 10 pm yesterday. The incident took place when Gulabjaan's (50) and her three sons were visiting her daughter-in-law's house in Tippunagar.

Syed Amanulla who was stabbed said, "We went to my brother Fazal wife Nazu's house which is in Tippunagar. We had heard news that there has been some verbal dispute. As we reached, Nazu's brother-in-law and his father started abusing us. Before we could understand what was happening, they attacked us with a knife, lathi and bricks."

"I was stabbed in the back. My mother was hit by a lathi on her head, my other brother Samiullah was hit with a brick," he added. Gulabjaan was also hurt on the head. They were taken to the to the Victoria Hospital by the police for treatment, and Gulabjan and Samiulla were sent to National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences as they had head injuries.u00a0

Amanulla (32) was stabbed in his stomach, Samiulla (28) has a nasty cut on his head, and Nasrulla (21) has minor injuries on his face.

A case has been registered at Chamarajpet police station.
