Farmers' demands about MSP legislation will hit the economy hard

Farmers marched down the roads of the national capital opposing the three agricultural laws seeking a guarantee and a legislation on the Minimum Support Price (MSP). However, the Union government says that such a demand is impractical.

The big question that arises is as to why it is impractical to guarantee such a price. Responding to this question, economic experts say that this would increase the burden on the government's budget.
