A day after the 20-year-old mother of Sion Hospital’s ‘abandoned’ baby returned to claim her child, the now five-day-old infant’s father Pramod Mahato returned to the family’s home in Boisar, Palghar district last morning.

Mahato had both slipped out of the hospital premises on Wednesday morning, after his infant, who was born with a cogenital defect, underwent surgery.
Bharati had then gone to Boisar looking for him, before returning to the hospital.
