However, our officials have taken the required precautions by seizing the confectionaries from the manufacturing unit,&rdquo; said S K Shere, Joint commissioner, FDA, Thane. FDA officials said that they waiting for the investigation reports from the police after which they will decide whether the supplier of the manufacturer is to be held responsible for the entire incident. No more candy School authorities, meanwhile, have put a stop to distribution of confectioneries in classrooms during birthday celebrations. &ldquo;The incident has upset us and we do not want to take any chances. Therefore, we have decided to stop sharing of sweets during birthdays,&rdquo; said Ganesh Lakode, a school trustee. Situation at hospital 16 affected students were discharged on Wednesday evening while the remaining three -- two girls and one boy -- are still undergoing medical treatment at Titan hospital. Dr Anil Ghagare, administrator of the hospital, said, &ldquo;Since the two girls were finding it difficult to breathe, we shifted them from the ward to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (P.I.C.U.) late on Wednesday evening. The boy is still receiving treatment in ward of the hospital.&rdquo; u00a0
