A minor fight that erupted over an issue of rickshaw parking at Hadapsar's market area took an ugly turn when the two parties injured each other with knives and choppers.

The fight broke out around 10.30 pm, when Deepak Sarvoday, a rickshaw puller, objected to a few persons presence near his parked vehicle. The argument turned into a brawl when both parties were joined by a few of their friends. The fight got vicious, with both parties slashing each other with knives and choppers.

Locals rushed the injured to Sassoon General Hospital. Two injured, Deepak Sarvoday and Balu Chavan sustained head injuries. Two women were also injured, as they had been kicked in the stomach, and were sent for an examination. At the time of going to press, Hadapsar police were yet to lodge a police complaint.
