A group of men opened fire outside a prominent mall in east Delhi on Thursday injuring a security guard. "The security guard Manoj did not allow a group of men to enter EDM complex in Gazipur with arms.

The men then allegedly opened fire at him and tried to flee. However, one of theu00a0 assailants was apprehended," a senior police official said.

Manoj was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Doctors said he is out of danger.
