Five fatal accidents in 2 days

Five cases of fatal accidents were registered in the city between Tuesday evening and yesterday morning.
Five cases of fatal accidents were registered in the city between Tuesday evening and yesterday morning. While in one of the accident cases the Yerawada police arrested a dumper driver, suspects in all the other cases were yet to be identified. In Bhosari, 50-year-old resident Manik Sadashiv Hazare died after his Scooty was hit by an unknown vehicle on the pedestrian bridge in front of Santosh hotel in Nashik road area. In the second incident, on Wednesday morning call centre employee Brian Wagh (24) died after his Activa was hit by an unidentified vehicle at 2 am in Pimple Gurav.
A 60-year-old resident of Shrinagar lane, Pandurang Dalvi was killed after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a speeding Scorpio (MH14-CF-9600) near Katepuram square at Pimple Gurav.In the Yerawada accident a 23-year-old resident of Nagar district, Sangeet Chavan, lost her life. At 11.30 pm Chavan was returning to her relatives' home along with an acquaintance, Ramesh Kamble, when the bike they were riding collided with another two-wheeler. After the collision, Chavan fell off the bike and was run over by the dumper coming from behind. The police arrested the dumper driver, Manik Rathod.
