Enthusiastic city students, out to spread an anti-female infanticide message, were stopped by the police at Girgaum Chowpatty. About 150 students, mostly from Wilson College, gathered at the beach for a flash mob. Unfortunately they hadn’t sought prior permission from the police, who refused to let the students perform.
