Four employees booked for duping travel company

The Hadapsar police have booked four employees working with Time Leisure Tours and Travels Company on charges of duping the company to the tune of Rs 1.17 crore by submitting forged documents in the names of customers and suppliers

The accused have been identified as Jigna Govindbhai Patel, from Koregaon Park, Ankita Jaswantlal Thakkar, from Hadapsar,Manishkumar Phoolchand Mishra, from Pimpri and Datta Popat Gadhve, from Uruli Kanchan. Manish Sushilkumar Thakur (34), an employee of the company, had lodged the case against the four accused.

According to the complaint, the accused conspired and submitted forged documents and bills in the name of customers and suppliers from March to December 2012. Later, they siphoned off Rs 1.17 crore by claiming that they had arranged a holiday package for the customers.u00a0
