Jagdish Singh alias Bhola, arrested after Saturday's drug bust in Mohali, Punjab in which contraband worth Rs 1 crore was seized, had been nabbed in Mumbai in 2009 with 25 kg of meth
It appears the Punjab drugs controversy, which has Olympian pugilist Vijender Singh mired in it, is not going to die out soon, given fresh developments. In another drug haul on Saturday, the Punjab police recovered 10 kg of narcotic substances used mainly in rave parties from a house in Mohali district. The contraband was found from former Arjuna Award winner Jagdish Singh alias Bhola’s home in Punjab.
