In another case of seizure of gold, the airport Customs officials intercepted Chennai resident, Kadar Sawbar Sadiq, when he arrived from Bangkok on flight AI 331, a little after midnight on Friday.
Two pieces of gold, weighing 504 grams were hidden on the passenger’s shoe soles with adhesive tape, worth approximately Rs 12.81 lakh.
