New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished good health and long life on Wednesday to Congress president Rahul Gandhi on his birthday.
Narendra Modi on social media website tweeted, "Best wishes to Shri @RahulGandhi on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life."

The two leaders were involved in a war of words in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls, in which the BJP-led NDA returned to power with a massive majority. Rahul Gandhi was born on this day in 1970. He turns 49 years old today. He is celebrating his second birthday as Congress Chief after he replaced his mother, Sonia Gandhi in December 2017. Rahul Gandhi has also served additional offices such as chairperson of the Indian Youth Congress and the National Students Union of India, Rahul Gandhi comes from a family of longline politicians. He currently represents the Wayanad constituency.
The grand old party has been in a crisis since Rahul said that he was no longer interested in taking the Congress ahead and wants a non-Gandhi to step in. Leaders are hoping that he has a birthday message for the party on his big day.

Zee TV producer died of drowning in Aarey pond, reveals primary report The primary report on the cause of death of the senior producer at Zee TV, Sohan Chauhan on Sunday, has revealed drowning. His last rites were performed on Monday in the presence of his wife, brother and other relatives. The family has made no complaint, the police said. During the investigation, the cops from Aarey police station checked CCTV footage in which he was seen coming out of the lift around 3.45am on Sunday. He had a bottle of Thums Up in one hand.
