Govt allows Pepsico to inject USD 200 mn additional equity

The government on Saturday allowed Pepsico Holdings Pvt Ltd to inject additional equity of USD 200 (around Rs 930 crore) million into its Indian arm within three years.

The government on Saturday allowed Pepsico Holdings Pvt Ltd to inject additional equity of USD 200 (around Rs 930 crore) million into its Indian arm within three years.
The investment would take Pepsico's total FDI into the country to USD 655 million. The approval was given by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs at its meeting here on Saturday.
