GRP tracks down dead man's kin, returns Rs 46,000

The 58-year-old victim Deshraj Thakar from Jammu lost his life while trying to cross railway tracks at Borivli station
This week after retrieving an injured man from the railway tracks at Borivli station, the Government Railway Police (GRP) safely kept Rs 46,000 found in the victim’s bag and fervently tried to trace his relatives.
The man lost his life on the way to the hospital. But, when his relatives arrived in Mumbai they were given back all the man’s money, paisa for paisa. Deshraj Thakar (58) was found lying injured on the railway track of platform 3 at Borivli station on Monday at 7.28 am by two constables of the Borivli GRP.
