In what can only be called ironic, the two-year-old child of a woman security guard was stolen from the busy Bowring hospital emergency ward on Saturday.

The woman was deputed by the hospital management to keep a tab on the increasing theft and other activities in the casualties.
Chandrakala, (30), who has been working as a security guard at the casualty ward for the past eight months, has filed a complaint with the Bowring hospital police station.
