About Gujarat Board of Secondary Education:
The Gujarat Secondary &amp; Higher Secondary Education Board was established in 1972 beneath the Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972. Gujarat Board is widely recognized as GSEB. The Chairman and Deputy Chairman for the board are appointed by the State Government. Different Committees with explicit duties and function are under the Board.
The main responsibilities of board is to prepare curricular, recommending syllabuses, registering new secondary schools and monitoring their performance on regular basis, providing developmental guidance about school result, organizing training for teachers and principals, facilitating educational research, framing the rules &amp; regulations for school management and ensuring their effective implementation . The Gujarat Board also holds a talent Search for students of Std VIII &amp; IX in five major subjects every year, for nearly 35,000 students.
Gujarat Board of Secondary Education Examination and Results 2014:
Gujarat Secondary &amp; Higher Secondary Education Board used to conduct Gujarat Secondary Education Examination every year in the month of March. Similarly, Gujarat Board has conducted 12th board Exam amid Feb and Mar 2014.
GSHSEB conducts Main and Supplementary examinations every year in March and October, for SSC and HSC. The SSC examination was conducted in 335 centers, for more than 7 lakh students. 101 subjects are covered, and question papers are set in six different languages i.e. Gujarati, Hindi, English, Marathi, Sindhi and Tamil. The HSC examination was conducted in 158 centers, for more than 2 lakh students. 168 subjects are covered, and question papers are set in three languages i.e. Gujarati, Hindi &amp; English.
Students must be eagerly waiting for their results as their future studies depends upon the scores they will achieve.&nbsp;Every year the board declares their GSEB Result in the month of May. This year also the GSEB board will be declaring scores today at 7 AM on www. gseb. org.
