Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat’s Dahod on Monday and was warmly welcomed by the public by waving Tirangas during his road show and Public meeting.

During this visit, PM Modi inaugurated multiple development projects in Dahod, having an estimated value of over Rs 24,000 crore. These initiatives included multiple railway infrastructures and several other schemes launched by the Government of Gujarat

Rina Panchal, one of the attendees of the rally said, “Being a woman, I can say that only a woman can understand the value of Sindoor. Terrorists destroyed the Sindoor of our women, and after that our forces and PM Modi gave them a reply in their own language.”

Another supporter of BJP said, “He has an old relation with Dahod. We are very happy. Around 2000 women here have come in a similar saree to welcome PM Modi. We salute PM Modi for Operation Sindoor.”

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel honoured the Prime Minister with an idol of tribal icon Birsa Munda. Modi was also presented with handcrafted gifts made by local women.

The Prime Minister is on a two-day tour of Gujarat that began Monday, where he will continue to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several high-value development projects.

In Dahod, he launched a Locomotive Manufacturing plant under Indian Railways, designed to produce 9000 HP electric locomotives both for domestic use and export. The plant is expected to enhance the freight handling capabilities of Indian Railways. PM Modi also flagged off the first electric locomotive built at this facility.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Bhuj, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects worth over Rs 53,400 crore and address another public meeting.

Ahead of his visit, posters in Bhuj highlighted the achievements of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces, repoted ANI.

Operation Sindoor was launched as a strategic mission aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure across the Line of Control and deeper within Pakistan. Based on multi-agency intelligence, nine key camps were identified and successfully targeted in the operation.
