H1N1 cases flood YCM Hospital

A horde of H1N1 suspects cases visited Pimpri's YCM Hospital late last night. The medical officer on duty told MiD DAY that about 25 patients showing symptoms of swine flu like fever, cough and cold were treated in the OPD ward every hour since 9 pm and four people were admitted to the hospital for suspected swine flu.

Toll increases
One more person succumbed to swine flu increasing the death toll in the city to 355. The deceased was identified at Wadkar Waman Kashinath (72). He was admitted to Bharati Hospital on August 11 for fever and breathlessness but died on Thursday in the afternoon. Meanwhile 303 patients were admitted to various hospitals for H1N1 treatment and 20 patients were on ventilator. A total of 27 people tested positive for the virus yesterday.
