Haridwar hate speech case: Uttarakhand court rejects bail plea of Narsinghanand

The bail plea of Yati Narsinghanand, who is accused of delivering hate speech against Muslims at a ‘Dharma Sansad’ in Haridwar, was rejected by a local court in Uttarakhand on Thursday.

As per a report in Bar and Bench, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar, rejected the bail application of Narsinghanand, who was previously also charged with making objectionable remarks against women. He was arrested on January 15 and later sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
