Haryana minister blamed for air-hostess' death

A 23-year-old former air hostess with the domestic MDLR airlines has committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Ashok Vihar in North-West Delhi.

u00a0According to the police, a suicide note was found in Deepika Sharma’s apartment that blames MDLR airlines chairman and Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda.

Police sources say the note says... “he (Gopal Kanda) has broken my trust.” Sharma was under pressure from the minister to join back and finally succumbed to it, her brother said.

Kanda is the Haryana Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies. Sharma’s brother said the the minister would harass her after she had left the job. Kanda reportedly even personally visited their house to ask her to join back.
