The Bombay High Court today sought the the Maharashtra government's stand on a plea against the proposed Rs 3,600 crore Shivaji memorial in the Arabian Sea.

A bench of Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice G S Kulkarani asked the government to file an affidavit within three weeks detailing its stand on the plea against the government's plan to build a 192-metre high statue of Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Arabian Sea.
