In the midst of the controversy surrounding Janata Dal (Secular) sitting MP and candidate Prajwal Revanna in the alleged "obscene videos" case, his uncle and party leader HD Kumaraswamy stated that he is unconcerned about Revanna's situation and that if he has made mistakes, he must face the legal consequences.

Kumaraswamy emphasised that distributing pen drives with the claimed films is also a serious violation because it tarnishes women's reputations, reported ANI.
