Heavy downpour slows down Mumbai

Heavy rainfall left many parts of Mumbai water-logged and threw normal life out of gear in India's financial capital.
Monsoon has truly arrived in Mumbai, with trains running behind schedule, roads being flooded and other infrastructure woes plaguing Mumbaikars. Mumbai received heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours with the city receiving 45 mm of rainfall, western suburbs receiving 42 millimeters and the eastern suburbs 54 mm.
Certain low-lying areas in Jogeshwari, Vikhroli, Mazagaon, Malad and other areas like Hindmata, Bharatmata, Nana Chowk and Grant Road also reporting waterlogging.
