Met issues 'orange' alert for heavy rains in three Himachal districts; over 200 roads closed

According to the weather department, heavy to very heavy showers are likely to occur at isolated locations in Kangra, Mandi, and Sirmaur on Monday, and in Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur on Tuesday

The Met office has issued an 'orange' alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in three districts of Himachal Pradesh on Monday and Tuesday, reported the PTI.

According to the weather department, heavy to very heavy showers are likely to occur at isolated locations in Kangra, Mandi, and Sirmaur on Monday, and in Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur on Tuesday.

A 'yellow' warning for heavy rain has also been issued for three to seven out of the state's twelve districts, effective until Friday.
