“My brother is innocent and to prove that he is innocent, we will approach the High Court and appeal against the Session Court’s judgment,” said Tariq Baig, elder brother of Himayat. Tariq was speaking to Mi D DAY from their hometown Beed.

“We know that my brother is innocent and he has not done anything wrong. However, the honourable court has held him guilty, so we will appeal in the High Court and ‘Insha-Allah’ (God willing), we are sure that the justice will be delivered,” he added.
