Vishwas Bhanudas Kadam (60), was admitted to Jehangir hospital on Saturday evening, and died the following morning Family members of the patient have alleged that the doctors were responsible for the death of Vishwas Bhanudas Kadam (60), who was admitted in the hospital for cardiac treatment. The doctors have been identified as Dr Pratik Kumar and Dr Duggal, and their assistants. Vishwas, a resident of Parvati, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, and was advised by doctors to undergo an emergency operation. &ldquo;Vishwas was earlier admitted to Global hospital in Dattawadi on Wednesday. His condition had stabilised and he was advised to undergo an angioplasty operation. Accordingly, he was admitted to Jehangir hospital on Saturday evening. We deposited Rs 1.81 lakh for the surgery as per the doctor&rsquo;s instructions. However, they did not perform the operation citing technical reasons,&rdquo; said Datta Kadam, a relative of the deceased. &ldquo;Meanwhile, on Sunday early morning, Vishwas started feeling uneasy and died after some time. Neither the doctors nor their staff paid heed to our requests for immediate medical attention on the same morning,&rdquo; Datta said. The Koregaon park police said they had filed a case against the doctors and their staff under section 304A (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the Indian Penal Code. Assistant Police Inspector Jatak is investigating the case. 16-year-old girl commits suicide A 16-year-old girl identified as Srushti Vijay Dabhade reportedly committed suicide by jumping off the municipality water tank at 2.30 pm yesterday. She was studying in Std XI at the Balvikas Vidyalaya Junior College in Talegaon. Her relatives have levelled allegations against the police that they refused to register Shrushti&rsquo;s complaint against a boy, who had allegedly been harassing her since the last few days.u00a0
