I&B secretary can chair FTII, say students

<p>FTII students on strike for over 100 days have told the government that the information and broadcasting ministry secretary can be the chairman of the prestigious film institute instead of actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan, informed sources said.</p>
FTII students on strike for over 100 days have told the government that the information and broadcasting ministry secretary can be the chairman of the prestigious film institute instead of actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan, informed sources said.
The government, holding talks with the students of the Pune-based Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), is expected to get back to the students during their next round of talks in Mumbai on October 7.
