The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination was an annual engineering college entrance examination in India. The IIT JEE Advanced Result 2014 to be declared tomorrow on jeeadv. iitd. ac. in around 9 am.

IIT JEE is an admission test conducted by by the fifteen Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian School of Mines and IIT BHU. IIT Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by one of the IIT&rsquo;s every year.
The IIT JEE Examination was conducted for the first time in the year 1960. The IIT-JEE was primarily called as CEE i.e. Common Entrance Exam. IIT JEE was established as per the 1961 IIT Act.
In 2000 and 2005, an extra screening test was conducted along with the main examination, planned to reduce pressure on the main examination by allowing only about 20,000 top candidates to appear in the exam, out of 450,000 candidates.
To be eligible for the main examination, general category students need to secure minimum of 60% marks in the class 12th qualifying examination conducted by various educational boards of India, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) categories students have to secure a minimum of 55% marks in their Class 12th Examination.
After the result 2014 will be declared, the candidates are required to insert their roll numbers and check the scores. Students who will meet the criteria of JEE Advanced exam 2014 will be entitled for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses at Indian Institutes of Technology and ISM Dhanbad.
The examination was conducted on May 25. The result to be declared tomorrow i.e. on 19th June 2014 on jeeadv.iitd.ac.in. Once the results will be declared students can start filling courses choices from 20th June 2014 till 24th June 2014. The candidates who wish to join the B.Arch Course are required to appear in Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT-2014). AAT-2014 examination will be conducted on June 26 at seven zonal IIT&rsquo;s.
