India declares '1-day state mourning' on Tuesday over Iranian Prez Raisi's demise

Ministry of Home Affairs said that the National flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country on all buildings where it is flown regularly

Following the tragic demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Iran's Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, the Government of India has decided that there will be one day of state mourning on Tuesday (May 21) throughout the country as a mark of respect to the departed dignitaries.

Ministry of Home Affairs said that the National flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country on all buildings where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment on the day.
