Qatar has released eight jailed former Indian Navy personnel nearly three-and-a-half months after they were handed down death sentences in a case of suspected espionage

Eight former Indian Navy personnel, who were languishing in a jail in Qatar, were released by Qatari authorities, reported news agency PTI.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India welcomed the decision.
