Jaipur: A senior official of state-run&nbsp;Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) was on Thursday arrested for alleged&nbsp;links with terror organisation ISIS, police said.&nbsp;
The Special Operation Group (SOG) and ATS of Rajasthan&nbsp;Police arrested Mohd Sirazudin, the marketing manager of IOC&nbsp;here.
"Sirazudin, hailing from Gulbarga in Karnataka,... was&nbsp;arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for&nbsp;his alleged involvement in (activities of) international&nbsp;terrorist organisation ISIS, supplying official inputs and&nbsp;recruiting organisation members in the country," Alok&nbsp;Tripathi, Additional DGP (ATS and SOG), said here.
"The accused was also active in flaring up and encouraging&nbsp;Muslim youths for (joining) ISIS activities," Tripathi said.
On a complaint, SOG and ATS teams verified antecedents of&nbsp;the accused, and checked his WhatsApp and Facebook accounts.
Objectionable materials were seized from his residence in&nbsp;Jaipur, the ADG said, adding he used to contact youths through&nbsp;social media.
A number of issues of ISIS' online magazine "Dabik",&nbsp;pictures, and video were also recovered from him, he said.&nbsp;Further investigation was on, he said.&nbsp;
