<p><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/business/business-news/article/indigo-posts-rs-238-crore-net-loss-in-q1fy27-amid-west-asia-conflict-23641242" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">India&rsquo;s largest airline IndiGo</a> briefly faced technical problems with its ticket booking system on Friday, affecting access to some of its online services.</p>
<p>The airline acknowledged the issue on its website and said teams were working with its technology partner to restore normal operations.</p>
<h2>IndiGo reports reservation system issue</h2>
<p>In a message posted on its website, IndiGo said it was experiencing intermittent problems with its core reservation platform.</p>
<p>The issue meant that some customers could face difficulties while accessing the<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/indigo-booking-services-down-airline-reports-issues-with-core-reservation-platform-23645589" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> airline&rsquo;s online services, </a>including its booking platform.</p>
<p>IndiGo said its teams were working on priority to resolve the problem and apologised to passengers for the inconvenience caused.</p>
<h2>Services restored, airline says</h2>
<p>An airline official later confirmed that the technical issue had been resolved and that the reservation system was functioning normally.</p>
<p>IndiGo uses the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/indigo-flight-emergency-landing-indigo-mumbai-dubai-flight-makes-emergency-landing-in-rajkot-after-smoke-alert-23641844" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Navitaire reservation system for its operations.</a></p>
<p>The brief disruption came just two days after the airline reported a similar issue with its core reservation platform on Wednesday.</p>
<h2>Second booking issue in the same week</h2>
<p>On Wednesday, IndiGo had informed customers through a post on X that it was facing intermittent problems with the reservation system.</p>
<p>The recurrence of the technical issue within a few days comes as the airline continues to operate one of the largest flight networks in the country.</p>
<p>IndiGo currently operates around 2,200 flights every day, connecting passengers to destinations across India and internationally.</p>
<p>The airline carried around 80.82 lakh passengers on domestic routes in July, according to the figures cited in the report.</p>
<p>Its domestic market share stood at 67.4 per cent during the month, underlining its dominant position in India's aviation sector.</p>
<h2>Previous disruption in December 2025</h2>
<p data-start="0" data-end="219">The latest technical issues come months after <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/flight-cancellations-and-delays-leave-indigo-passengers-stranded-in-mumbai-23606165" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">IndiGo faced major operational disruptions in December 2025,</a> when widespread flight disruptions affected passengers and the airline subsequently faced regulatory action.</p>
