Sleuths of Crime Branch unit III claimed to have busted an interstate gang of burglars and recovered gold-silver ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh, a car, and equipment used in the crimes. With the arrest of two persons, cops say they have solved 40 housebreaking cases, including 10 from Pune.

Police have identified the accused as Munna alias Samil Alihussain Khan alias Qureshi (39) of Hyderabad, and his accomplice Suresh Mithalal Soni (39) of Rajasthan.
