Cyber crime cops bust online IPL betting racket in Goa; 6 held

Six persons from different states have been arrested for allegedly running an online betting racket linked to Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in North Goa, police said on Thursday, reported the PTI.

The operation was carried out by the Cyber Crime Police during the night of 15-16 April at a rented premises in Sangolda village. The accused were allegedly caught accepting bets through online applications during ongoing IPL matches.
