IRCTC launches beta version of new ticket booking website with faster bookings and redesigned interface

IRCTC has launched the beta version of its redesigned ticket booking website with a cleaner interface, faster checkout, simplified captcha and improved seat availability display. Users can access the new portal through the existing IRCTC website and share feedback before the full rollout

Indian Railways launches redesigned IRCTC website (Pic/Screengrab@irctc)

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Wednesday, July 15, rolled out the beta version of its revamped ticket booking website. The introduction of a new website allows users to experience its redesigned interface and share feedback before the full-fledged rollout.

The beta version went live at 9 pm on July 15 and can be accessed through the existing IRCTC e-ticketing portal. A dedicated link to the new version has also been placed on the homepage of the current website.
