The medical examination report in the alleged gang rape case involving a woman IT firm manager in Rajasthan’s Udaipur has confirmed injuries on her body, including pain in her private parts, police said on Friday. The incident is alleged to have taken place on December 20.

Three accused — Jitesh Prakash Sisodia, chief executive officer of GKM IT; Shilpa Sirohi, the first female senior executive at the firm; and her husband Gaurav Sirohi — have been arrested. In her police complaint, the survivor alleged that all three took turns to sexually assault her inside a car.

Officials said the medical examination corroborated her account, noting injuries on multiple parts of her body.

The survivor had attended Sisodia’s birthday party at a hotel in Udaipur’s Shobagpura area on December 20. The gathering reportedly began around 9 pm and continued until about 1.30 am, during which alcohol was consumed. When the woman’s health deteriorated, the three accused allegedly offered to drop her home.
The accused stopped the car and gave the woman a substance resembling cigarettes, following which she fell unconscious. On regaining consciousness later, she noticed injuries on her body, as well as her jewellery, socks, and undergarments missing.

The survivor later checked the car’s dashcam, which allegedly recorded the assault and conversations between the accused. She approached the police with this evidence and filed a complaint on December 23. All three have been arrested.
