Satya Nadella, the CEO of American multinational technology Microsoft Corporation, on Monday said he hoped that every single immigrant who is provided with the status of being a citizen of the country under the newly amended Citizenship Amendment Act, which has caused a lot of furore across the country, may aspire for a prosperous future and equally benefit the society and economy.
Nadella, in a statement, said, "Every country will and should define its borders, protect national security and set immigration policy accordingly. And in democracies, that is something that the people and their governments will debate and define within those bounds."
