J Dey trial: Chhota Rajan withdraws consent for voice sample

J Dey Underworld don Chhota Rajan, who had at first given his consent for a voice sample, later withdrew it, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) informed the Special MCOCA court hearing the murder case of journalist J Dey. After the CBI informed the court of Rajan’s withdrawal of consent, Judge Sameer Adkar asked his advocate Anshuman Sinha to file a reply to this.

Dey, who was Editor (Investigations) at mid-day, was shot dead in Powai on June 11, 2011, when he was heading home on his motorcycle. He was allegedly killed at the behest of Rajan.
