Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government today said there is need for proper fencing of the areas under mines in the forward villages along the Line of Control (LoC) so that people can take adequate precautions.

"There is need for proper fencing of the areas under mines in the forward villages along the Line of Control (LoC)," Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and Tribal Affairs Choudhary Zulfkar Ali said here today. The minister urged the concerned (Army) to ensure proper demining and keeping the people informed so that they can take adequate precautions.
