Kolkata: In a bizarre twist to the Jadavpur University controversy, the website of the varsity was "hacked", claimed its registrar Saturday, and the message posted on the vice chancellor's page saying he is "sorry" has been fabricated by outsiders.
"No, this message is not from our side. I have spoken to the vice chancellor. Somebody hacked it and posted it from outside. We have asked our technical team to look into it and if needed, we will also intimate police," Registrar Pradip Ghosh told IANS.
